About Me
Dr. Firdevs Yıldız was born in the Altınözü district of Hatay, where she completed her primary education. She graduated from Altınözü Imam Hatip High School in 2011.
In 2012, she began her undergraduate studies at the Faculty of Theology at İnönü University in Malatya. In 2014, she transferred to the Arabic program at the Faculty of Theology at Yalova University, where she completed her degree in 2017.
Following her graduation, she started her master's studies in Islamic History at the Institute of Social Sciences at Marmara University in the same year. In 2019, she completed her master's degree with her thesis titled “A Jewish Physician and Philosopher in the Medieval Islamic World: Isaac Israeli.”
In 2019, she began working as a Research Assistant at the Faculty of Theology at Adıyaman University. In the same year, she started her PhD studies in Islamic History at the Institute of Social Sciences at Sakarya University.
In 2025, she completed her doctoral dissertation titled “Plant Culture in the Period of the Prophet Muhammad: Herbs” and received her PhD.
Dr. Firdevs Yıldız currently serves at the Faculty of Theology at Adıyaman University.
